Security Operations Analyst (Hybrid)

What you will do

• Monitor and triage alerts from SIEM, endpoint, identity, cloud, email, and network security platforms.
• Investigate suspicious activity, analyze security events, and document findings.
• Support incident response activities, including containment, recovery, and post-incident follow-up.
• Collaborate with managed security service providers and internal IT teams to resolve security issues.
• Conduct threat intelligence research and support vulnerability management activities.
• Improve security procedures, playbooks, detection capabilities, and investigation efficiency through responsible use of AI and automation.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 1–2+ years of experience in cybersecurity, security operations, IT security, incident response, or a related technical role.
• Understanding of cybersecurity principles, attack techniques, and security monitoring practices.
• Experience reviewing security alerts and logs and investigating potential threats.
• Familiarity with SIEM, EDR/XDR, identity security, email security, vulnerability management, and case management platforms.
• Excellent written and spoken English, with strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Nice to have

• Experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
• Exposure to Microsoft security technologies such as Entra ID, Defender, Intune, or Purview.
• Familiarity with NIST, MITRE ATT&CK, or CIS Controls.
• Security+, CySA+, Microsoft Security Operations Analyst, or equivalent certification.
