TL;DR
Senior Thought Leader Liaison, Lung and Head and Neck Oncology - Pacific Northwest (Oncology): Leading regional KOL engagement, medical education, faculty development, and brand strategy for lung and head and neck oncology across the Pacific Northwest with an accent on stakeholder relationships, treatment-pattern insights, and patient-focused customer engagement. Focus on shaping RYBREVANT strategy, designing innovative educational platforms, coordinating cross-functional teams, and managing field-based congresses and programs with up to 65% travel.

Location: Field-based in the United States, supporting Northern California, Washington, Oregon, and Idaho; greater than 50% travel, up to 65%, including weekend events.

Salary: $137,000–$235,750 base pay annually.

What you will do

  • Lead Pacific Northwest KOL engagement, regional marketing education, faculty development, and peer-to-peer education plans.
  • Shape RYBREVANT brand strategy through local market insights, treatment-pattern analysis, and collaboration with Brand, Medical, Sales, and Commercial Excellence teams.
  • Build relationships with academic and community oncology KOLs, healthcare professionals, professional associations, and other stakeholders.
  • Develop innovative regional and national educational platforms and engagement solutions for medical congresses and future product launches.
  • Manage regional marketing budgets, agency coordination, compliance training, and operational planning for KOL programs.
  • Potentially manage other oncology Thought Leader Liaisons and support capability development.

Requirements

  • BA/BS degree in a related field required; an MBA, MD, PharmD, PhD, or related graduate degree is preferred.
  • At least 6 years of experience in marketing, medical affairs, key account management, sales, or sales leadership, ideally involving KOLs or influential healthcare professionals.
  • Experience collaborating with internal and external stakeholders, developing strategies, and delivering measurable outcomes.
  • Strong understanding of oncology industry trends, customer relationships, patient impact, and customer-centric engagement.
  • Valid driver's license issued in the United States required.
  • Greater than 50% travel required, up to 65%, including field-based educational events, congresses, internal meetings, and weekend programs.

Nice to have

  • Pharmaceutical or biotech industry experience engaging with KOLs and professional healthcare associations.
  • Deep medical or scientific knowledge of the oncology marketplace.
  • Experience leading change and transformation with strong communication and leadership skills.
  • Interest in emerging technologies such as AI.
