Senior Scientific Publication Manager - III (Scientific Communications)

Location: Upper Gwynedd, Pennsylvania, United States; hybrid schedule with approximately 3 days onsite per week, with onsite requirements potentially increasing based on business needs. Monday through Friday, with flexible onsite days.

Salary: $122,000–$126,900 per year.

What you will do

• Coordinate publication planning and implementation for assigned scientific and clinical projects.
• Support the development and execution of global Publication Teams.
• Track and report publication development progress, risks, and issues.
• Support the selection of appropriate journals and congresses for scientific data dissemination.
• Coordinate with cross-functional stakeholders and external medical communications agencies.
• Help allocate resources for writing and editing activities.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years of relevant experience, or a master’s degree or PharmD with 1–2+ years of relevant experience.
• Experience in a scientific discipline, publication management, or a related field, with an understanding of clinical development, clinical study data, and outcome measures.
• Knowledge of publication standards, authorship requirements, industry best practices, and Good Publication Practice.
• Strong written, verbal, presentation, interpersonal, organizational, and teamwork skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects, communicate complex medical and scientific information, and work across multidisciplinary groups.
• Experience with Datavision or a similar publications management database.

Nice to have

• Experience in a pharmaceutical, biotechnology, academic, or scientific research environment.
• Previous success in publication management or scientific communications.
• Advanced scientific degree, such as an MS or PharmD, or equivalent education, training, and experience.
