Software Integration Engineer (Robotics)

Location: On-site in Atlanta, Georgia, United States; travel up to 30% to customer sites throughout North America.

What you will do

• Develop, configure, test, and support integrations between hirify.global products and customer WMS, WCS, ERP, and other operational platforms.
• Design and troubleshoot APIs, interfaces, data flows, middleware components, databases, and messaging systems.
• Analyze customer requirements and create technical specifications, functional analyses, and integration documentation.
• Support integration testing, system validation, UAT, go-live activities, and handoff to operational and customer teams.
• Collaborate with hardware, systems, commissioning, project management, engineering, and customer stakeholders.
• Perform root cause analysis and contribute to improvements in software quality, deployment processes, testing practices, and engineering standards.

Requirements

• 1–4 years of experience in software engineering, systems integration, application support, automation, or a related discipline.
• Experience with Java, JavaScript, Node.js, Python, SQL, REST APIs, or similar development tools.
• Understanding of APIs, data flows, messaging, middleware, databases, and system-to-system communication.
• Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Experience in Agile development and a bachelor’s degree in a related technical field.
• Ability and willingness to travel up to 30% to customer sites throughout North America.

Nice to have

• Exposure to WMS, WCS, WES, logistics, fulfillment, industrial automation, robotics, or material handling systems.
• Experience with cloud platforms, CI/CD pipelines, Docker, Kubernetes, Kafka, RabbitMQ, or enterprise integrations.
