Finance Controller

Location: Lisboa, Portugal; hybrid work with 3 days at the office

Salary: €22,000–€28,000 gross annual

What you will do

• Prepare cost-center reports, financial dashboards, management reports, and recurring controlling files.
• Collect, validate, structure, and maintain financial data, reporting mappings, assumptions, and documentation.
• Perform variance, trend, cost, budget, forecast, and actual-performance analysis.
• Identify unusual movements, risks, data-quality issues, and unexplained deviations, preparing commentary for management review.
• Support budgeting and forecasting submissions by consolidating inputs, validating assumptions, and checking data consistency.
• Maintain finance-system data and contribute to improvements in reporting templates, dashboards, and controlling processes.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in controlling, FP&A, accounting, or audit.
• Strong Excel and ERP knowledge, with financial modeling and reporting skills.
• Experience with cost-center reporting, variance analysis, budget support, and data-quality management.
• Native-level Portuguese and fluent English, written and verbal, are required.
• Availability to work in a hybrid setup with 3 days at the Lisboa office.
