Client Risk Analyst (AI)

What you will do

• Assess, monitor, and manage risks presented by clients and partners throughout the client lifecycle.
• Own a portfolio, form independent risk views, escalate material risks, and support customer protection and regulatory compliance.
• Lead oversight meetings with clients and partners, challenge weak controls, and track remediation through completion.
• Conduct open-source research and assurance testing to verify client information and control effectiveness.
• Develop and interpret key risk indicators and convert portfolio data into management information for senior stakeholders.
• Support FCA and DNB compliance, regulatory reviews, audits, and the development of AI-assisted client risk assessment approaches.

Requirements

• Strong analytical judgement, including the ability to assess incomplete information and reach defensible conclusions.
• Strong written communication and the ability to document findings clearly.
• Confidence engaging with external counterparties and internal stakeholders at all levels.
• Ability to maintain a position under commercial pressure.
• Comfort working with management information, identifying trends, and using spreadsheets and reporting tools.

Nice to have

• Experience in partner, third-party, or supplier oversight.
• Working knowledge of AML, KYC, or KYB requirements.
• Experience in a regulated financial services environment.
• Investigative or intelligence training, open-source research, or corporate registry experience.
