Project Risk Manager (AI Infrastructure)

Location: Colorado, United States — Remote

Salary: $185,000–$235,000 annually, plus discretionary bonus and equity.

What you will do

• Lead the regional project risk management program across the North American portfolio, including governance, standards, methodologies, and escalation requirements.
• Integrate risk management across engineering, procurement, construction, project controls, commercial, commissioning, and operations readiness.
• Own project risk registers and lead risk identification, assessment, mitigation, monitoring, escalation, and closure.
• Evaluate EPC delivery risks involving design, permitting, utility interconnection, procurement, long-lead equipment, construction, commissioning, and MW capacity delivery.
• Lead qualitative and quantitative cost and schedule risk analysis, including Monte Carlo simulation, schedule risk analysis, scenario analysis, and contingency recommendations.
• Prepare portfolio dashboards, executive reporting, risk reviews, assurance activities, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management, project management, business, finance, or a related discipline, or equivalent relevant industry experience.
• Significant experience in risk management, project controls, or project delivery within complex EPC, construction, infrastructure, energy, mission-critical, or major capital programs.
• Experience leading project and portfolio risk management, including mitigation, monitoring, escalation, and assurance.
• Advanced experience with Monte Carlo simulation, cost and schedule risk analysis, scenario analysis, and risk-based contingency development.
• Strong understanding of EPC contracting, procurement, supply chain, change management, claims, commercial risk, and project controls.
• Ability to influence senior leaders, identify systemic and correlated risks, and translate complex risk information into business recommendations.

Nice to have

• Experience with hyperscale, AI, mission-critical, or large-scale data center programs, including power, cooling, utility interconnection, commissioning, and MW capacity delivery.
• Experience with enterprise or project risk management platforms and scheduling, cost management, and reporting integrations.
• PMI-RMP, PMP, AACE, IRM, or equivalent certification.
• Knowledge of ISO 31000, PMBOK, ISO 9001, ISO 45001, or ISO 14001.
• Experience with @Risk, Riskonnect, SAFRAN, or comparable risk management software.
