Full Stack Developer (Next.js)

Location: Remote-first within the UK, with access to a central London office when required. Core hours are 10:00–16:00 across a 37.5-hour week.

Salary: £75,000–£85,000 per annum, plus benefits.

What you will do

• Develop and deploy production applications with Next.js, React, and TypeScript.
• Use the Next.js App Router, Server Components, Client Components, routing, and data-fetching approaches.
• Make technical decisions about rendering, caching, and application performance.
• Investigate and resolve complex issues in modern web applications, including server-side behaviour.
• Integrate frontend applications with APIs, backend services, and third-party systems.
• Contribute to greenfield and existing applications across monolithic and microservices architectures through code reviews and collaborative Git workflows.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of commercial software development experience in a full-stack environment.
• Strong commercial experience with Next.js, React, and TypeScript.
• Production experience with the Next.js App Router, Server Components, Client Components, routing, and data fetching.
• Good understanding of rendering, caching, performance, APIs, backend services, and server-side behaviour.
• Experience with modern Git workflows and collaborative development.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to explain technical decisions clearly.

Nice to have

• C#, MongoDB, SQL Server, microservices, Docker, and Kubernetes.
• Azure, Vercel, Jenkins, Bitbucket Pipelines, RabbitMQ, and MassTransit.
• Microfrontends, test-driven development, RESTful and GraphQL APIs, and third-party SaaS integrations.
