Sr. Manager, Business Risk Management

Location: Hybrid work in Beerse, Belgium, or an East Coast USA R&D hub. Listed locations include Spring House and Raritan, Pennsylvania/New Jersey, United States, as well as Beerse, Belgium.

Salary: $137,000–$235,750 base pay per year.

What you will do

• Implement established business risk management capabilities, methodologies, standards, tools, and practices across functional areas and clinical study teams.
• Facilitate risk identification, assessment, mitigation planning, monitoring, escalation, and communication.
• Support deployment and adoption of risk management technologies, including user access management.
• Independently review and monitor business partner risks and contribute to risk metrics, analytics, and reporting.
• Participate in functional reviews, study team discussions, committees, and governance forums.
• Build relationships with functional leaders, study teams, R&D Quality partners, and other cross-functional stakeholders while promoting a positive risk culture.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, preferably in Business or a scientific discipline.
• At least 5 years of experience in the pharmaceutical, healthcare, or related industries.
• In-depth understanding of pharmaceutical drug development.
• Working knowledge of portfolio risk management, crisis management and business continuity, or enterprise risk management.
• Strong interpersonal and presentation skills, with the ability to summarize complex issues and communicate key insights.
• Professional maturity to partner with clinical study teams, functional leaders, business operations, and cross-functional stakeholders.
