TL;DR
Release Management Engineer (Fintech): Planning, validating, packaging, and deploying Avaloq banking software releases into controlled and live environments with an accent on production cutovers, technical release validation, and stakeholder coordination. Focus on managing end-to-end go-live delivery, analyzing deployment logs, and improving configuration, DevOps, and CI/CD practices across customer environments.
Location: Makati City, Philippines; hybrid and flexible work may be available

What you will do
- Plan and roll out products in controlled environments.
- Own end-to-end delivery of software releases into live environments.
- Create implementation plans, coordinate release meetings, and manage production cutovers.
- Validate release scope with project and delivery managers.
- Complete and report technical validation required for go-live.
- Manage software packaging, deployment, log analysis, and user education on release and deployment practices.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or engineering.
- 3–7 years of release or configuration management experience in banking and financial services.
- Experience with Unix, Oracle, SQL, Jenkins, Artifactory, Bitbucket, Git, GitHub, or similar source-code management tools.
- Knowledge of CI/CD processes, conflict resolution, and stakeholder management.
- Experience working in multicultural matrix teams.
- Availability for weekend or shift work when required by release priorities.
Nice to have
- Understanding of Banking System concepts, Front Platform, Mobile Application releases, or ICE Release Stream creation and cutover.
- Experience with shell scripting, OpenShift, Kubernetes, Docker, or container platforms.
- Agile or ITIL certification.
- AWS, OCI, or another cloud certification.
