IaaS Automation Engineer (VMware): Developing and evolving a large-scale VMware-based Infrastructure-as-a-Service platform with an accent on Ansible, Python, Infrastructure as Code, and operational automation. Focus on improving platform reliability, monitoring infrastructure services, automating repetitive workflows, and scaling DevOps operations.
Location: Zurich, Switzerland, with the option to work from a office or home office in Switzerland

What you will do
- Develop and enhance automation solutions for a large-scale Infrastructure-as-a-Service platform.
- Build Infrastructure as Code and configuration management solutions with Ansible and Python.
- Improve platform reliability through monitoring, automation, and continuous optimization.
- Contribute to the evolution of VMware-based infrastructure services.
- Collaborate with operations and engineering in a DevOps environment.
Requirements
- Several years of hands-on experience maintaining and developing Ansible roles and collections.
- Strong Python skills and experience developing automation aligned with CI/CD practices, Git, and infrastructure automation.
- Knowledge of VMware vSphere, VMware Cloud Director, RHEL, Windows, and DNS services.
- Experience with vRealize Suite, Prometheus, Grafana, and Logstash.
- Experience analyzing operational workflows and automating repetitive tasks, with strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Fluent English is required.
