Director of Release Management (ADAS/Autonomous Vehicles)

What you will do

• Lead and develop the Release Management team.
• Orchestrate end-to-end software releases from planning through delivery and post-release follow-up.
• Own release schedules, dependencies, milestones, deliverables, readiness criteria, approvals, and change control.
• Identify risks and blockers, coordinate mitigation plans, and manage go/no-go decisions.
• Partner with Development, Integration, QA, Product, Program Management, and senior leadership.
• Improve build, integration, and deployment workflows through automation, CI/CD, and release engineering practices.

Requirements

• B.Sc. in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.
• At least 10 years of relevant industry experience in Release Management, DevOps, Software Engineering, or a similar role.
• Experience leading complex, cross-functional software releases in a large-scale engineering environment.
• Strong understanding of Agile and Scrum, including release planning and iterative delivery.
• Excellent organizational, prioritization, communication, and stakeholder-management skills.
• Professional communication skills in English and Hebrew are required.

Nice to have

• Experience with Jira, GitLab, and Jenkins.
• Programming or scripting experience, preferably in Python.
• M.Sc., MBA, or experience with large-scale, complex software systems.
