Software Technical, Senior Engineer

What you will do

• Lead the technical execution of software development initiatives and translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
• Design and contribute to architectures involving microservices, distributed systems, APIs, databases, and cloud platforms.
• Develop production-ready software, make decisions on application design and scalability, and participate in code reviews.
• Drive the adoption of CI/CD pipelines, Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud infrastructure.
• Identify and resolve performance, reliability, security, and scalability issues, including incident management and on-call support.
• Mentor junior and mid-level engineers, support roadmap planning, and collaborate with product managers, designers, and other stakeholders.

Requirements

• At least 7 years of professional software development experience, including 2–3 years in a senior engineer, technical leadership, or team lead capacity.
• Experience delivering production systems at scale and mentoring or managing engineering teams of approximately 3–8 people.
• Strong proficiency in at least one primary programming language, such as Java, Python, Go, JavaScript/TypeScript, or C#.
• Deep understanding of system design, microservices, distributed systems, APIs, SQL and NoSQL databases, caching, and data modeling.
• Experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP, as well as CI/CD, Docker, Kubernetes, Git, and code review workflows.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience; strong communication, mentoring, decision-making, and Agile/Scrum skills.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Contributions to open source or technical writing and blogging.
