About the Role

You will lead and develop a regional customer due diligence function, recruit as needed, and improve performance against key metrics. You will define CDD strategy, resolve complex escalations, balance risk and commercial priorities, improve processes through automation, and represent the function in regional and global initiatives.

Requirements

• 10+ years of operations or compliance experience in financial services, fintech, banking, investment banking, or consulting
• 7+ years of people management experience
• Customer due diligence
• Know your customer
• Risk management

• Stakeholder management

Responsibilities

• Lead and coach the CDD team and people managers
• Recruit and expand the function to support regional growth
• Track team performance against key metrics and OKRs
• Define and execute regional CDD strategy
• Serve as a senior escalation point for complex cases and critical decisions
• Collaborate with Commercial teams on risk-aware decisions
• Partner with Compliance, Operations, and Product to improve processes and implement automation
• Represent the Americas CDD function in regional and global initiatives
• Travel regionally and globally as required
