Senior Data Engineer (Web3)

What you will do

• Collect, prepare, and validate data from databases, APIs, PostHog, spreadsheets, and other sources.
• Design, build, maintain, and optimize scalable ETL/ELT pipelines and data orchestration workflows.
• Manage and improve data infrastructure using GCP and modern cloud services.
• Automate monitoring, quality checks, and reliability processes across data systems.
• Collaborate with analytics, product, and engineering teams to make reliable data accessible.
• Connect on-chain and off-chain data into coherent user models while improving data security and documentation.

Requirements

• 7+ years of professional experience as a Data Engineer or in a similar large-scale data systems role.
• Strong Python and SQL skills, including experience with relational and NoSQL databases.
• Hands-on experience with ETL/ELT tools, preferably dbt, data orchestration, and modern data warehouses such as BigQuery, Snowflake, or Redshift.
• Practical experience with cloud platforms, preferably GCP, plus Git and data CI/CD workflows.
• Experience integrating AI-assisted development tools such as Claude Code into engineering workflows.
• Solid experience with Excel or Google Sheets, including pivot tables.

Nice to have

• Experience in fintech, banking, insurance, or Web3.
• Experience processing on-chain data using sources such as Dune or Solscan.
