Team Lead, Financial Crimes

What you will do

• Lead, coach, and develop a frontline Financial Crime team of Fraud Officers and Senior Fraud Officers.
• Set clear expectations, provide regular feedback, and create meaningful development opportunities.
• Build an engaged, inclusive, and high-performing team while maintaining service levels and customer outcomes.
• Manage performance consistently, recognise strong contributions, and address capability gaps through coaching and action plans.
• Lead people through change in a complex 24/7 operational environment.

Requirements

• Demonstrated people leadership experience in a frontline, contact centre, or operational environment.
• Experience with coaching, engagement, capability building, performance management, and change leadership.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills, including the ability to hold constructive conversations.
• Ability to create a safe, inclusive team culture and maintain a focus on customer outcomes.

Nice to have

• Financial services experience and knowledge of fraud management across retail financial products.
• Knowledge of fraud and card products, payments, card schemes, online banking fraud, and AML/CTF requirements.
• Experience using quality insights, operational measures, and process improvement to improve individual and team performance.
