Director, Data & Analytics (AI)

Location: Salem, Oregon, United States; regular in-person attendance at the hirify.global office during regular work hours is required.

What you will do

• Lead and develop a data engineering, analytics, and data science team while setting strategic direction for enterprise data and analytics.
• Own the Product Organization data platform strategy, including ingestion architecture, warehouse relationships, data contracts, schema evolution, and recovery procedures.
• Oversee ingestion, transformation, and delivery of product data to applications and reporting surfaces.
• Write and review production code, guide configuration-driven pipeline architecture, and contribute to delivery alongside the team.
• Manage data platform cost and capacity planning, including compute tiering and warehouse spend, in partnership with hirify.global Technology Group.
• Represent data needs with Data@hirify.global, hirify.global Technology Group, and Palantir Foundry stakeholders; define governance and AI-assisted engineering standards.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in data science, computer science, statistics, mathematics, engineering, or a related field; a master’s degree or advanced qualification is preferred.
• 10+ years of experience in data analytics, data science, or a related field, including 5+ years in senior leadership.
• Advanced proficiency in Python, SQL, data analytics tools, data management platforms, and cloud infrastructure.
• Experience owning a modern cloud data platform, delivering automated multi-environment data workloads, and using configuration-driven pipelines.
• Experience with data governance, data contracts, schema evolution, production code review, cost management, and AI-assisted engineering standards.
• Experience leading distributed teams across multiple time zones and communicating complex data insights to senior executives.

Nice to have

• Experience with Palantir Foundry as a source system.
• Advanced certifications such as CAP or PMP.
