Category Procurement Lead – People Services (Strategic Sourcing/HR Procurement): Developing category strategies and leading sourcing, supplier management, negotiations, and governance for People Services and HR spend categories with an accent on commercial value, supplier performance, and stakeholder partnership. Focus on managing end-to-end RFI, RFP, and RFQ processes, resolving supplier issues, and ensuring contractual and regulatory compliance across a complex international organisation.

What you will do
- Develop and maintain category strategies for People Services and HR-related spend.
- Identify opportunities for cost optimisation, supplier consolidation, risk mitigation, and service improvement.
- Lead end-to-end RFI, RFP, RFQ, supplier selection, negotiation, and commercial sourcing activities.
- Manage strategic supplier relationships, performance reviews, KPIs, governance frameworks, and improvement plans.
- Partner with HR, Procurement, Finance, Legal, Risk, Compliance, and operational stakeholders.
- Ensure procurement activity follows internal policies, governance requirements, contractual protections, and external regulations.
Requirements
- 6–8 years of experience in Procurement, Strategic Sourcing, or Category Management.
- Previous procurement experience managing People Services or HR-related categories, such as recruitment services, learning and development, benefits, or HR operations.
- Experience partnering with HR or People functions as an internal stakeholder.
- Strong commercial, negotiation, supplier relationship management, stakeholder management, influencing, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Proven ability to lead sourcing and contract negotiations in large or complex organisations.
- Degree or equivalent experience in Procurement, Business, Finance, Law, or a related discipline.
Nice to have
- Experience across multiple People Services categories.
- Experience supporting HR transformation programmes or workforce strategies.
- Experience in Financial Services or another regulated environment.
- CIPS Level 5/6 or equivalent professional procurement qualification.
- Additional qualifications in contract management, supplier management, or procurement best practice.
