Director of Clinical Operations & Video Engagement (Digital Health)

Location: Remote (United States). Candidates must be eligible to work in the United States; visa sponsorship is not available.

What you will do

• Lead and scale clinical teams of nurses, pharmacists, health coaches, and support staff delivering asynchronous video-based care.
• Define standards for clear, empathetic, clinically accurate, and effective patient video interactions.
• Develop video engagement strategies, formats, messaging, and cadence to improve adherence, retention, and continuity of care.
• Build staffing models, operating plans, performance expectations, and succession plans for a growing clinical organization.
• Implement quality assurance programs, SOPs, escalation pathways, documentation standards, and compliance processes.
• Partner with Enrollment, Customer Success, Growth, Product, and HR to launch and optimize scalable clinical programs.

Requirements

• Clinical background such as nursing, pharmacy, physician assistant experience, or an equivalent qualification.
• 10+ years of progressive leadership experience managing clinical teams, including in technology-enabled or digitally delivered care models.
• Demonstrated experience building and coaching teams in video-based or camera-facing communication, such as telehealth or virtual care.
• Experience developing team structures, performance frameworks, engagement metrics, clinical protocols, QA programs, and quality standards.
• Strong data and technology fluency with hands-on experience using digital tools to manage operations and performance.
• Bachelor's degree required.

Nice to have

• Experience leading digital health or virtual care programs using asynchronous video engagement.
• Experience in a startup or health tech company.
• Experience partnering with hospitals, health plans, or public health organizations on quality improvement initiatives.
• Advanced degree such as an MBA, MPH, or MScN.
• Spanish language capabilities.
