Corporate Accounting, Staff Accountant (Oracle Cloud)

Location: Atlanta Support Center, United States; onsite 4 days per week

What you will do

• Support month-end and quarter-end general ledger close activities, including journal entries and account balance reviews.
• Prepare balance sheet and P&L reconciliations, financial analyses, variance reviews, and unusual-trend analyses.
• Assist with annual budgeting, forecasting, and budget-versus-actual reporting.
• Prepare assigned financial statements, footnotes, supporting schedules, and information for external auditors.
• Maintain internal controls and support accurate, timely financial reporting.
• Contribute to process improvements and the effective administration of Oracle Cloud financial systems and reporting.

Requirements

• Four-year degree, preferably in Accounting, with education meeting the requirements to sit for the CPA exam.
• 0–2 years of accounting experience.
• Knowledge of accounting principles and procedures required to maintain accurate company books and records in accordance with GAAP.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, word processing, and advanced database applications in a Windows PC environment.
• Strong communication, analytical, organizational, planning, and multitasking skills.
• Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, shift priorities, and produce accurate results.
