Technician (Audiovisual)

What you will do

• Set up, operate, monitor, and break down basic audiovisual systems for events.
• Meet with guests and clients on site to confirm requirements and ensure equipment operates properly.
• Troubleshoot equipment and software issues and resolve changes in a timely, professional manner.
• Follow equipment sheets, company procedures, system-entry requirements, and paperwork processes.
• Coordinate equipment needs with internal staff and external vendors.
• Finalize invoices, enter orders in Navigator when needed, and use floor-up-selling techniques.

Requirements

• High school diploma required; an associate’s degree is preferred.
• Customer service or hospitality experience is preferred, ideally one year.
• Audio-visual experience or equivalent educational experience is preferred, ideally one year.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs and meet the listed physical requirements, including frequent standing, walking, grasping, and lifting.
• Valid driver’s license required when operating company vehicles; additional DOT requirements may apply.
• Required training and certifications must be completed or validated within one year for external applicants.
