People Operations Manager

Location: Must be based in the United States

Salary: $160,000 – $190,000/yr

What you will do

• Design and maintain a company-wide leveling framework to ensure consistency across functions.
• Develop and implement management training programs to support new and existing managers.
• Define and own the company's compensation philosophy, including cash, equity, and bonus structures.
• Serve as a trusted HR business partner to engineering managers, supporting performance, promotions, and development.
• Manage employee relations and ensure compliance with multi-state US employment law.

Requirements

• Must be based in the United States with valid work authorization.
• Proven experience in building People infrastructure, including leveling and compensation frameworks.
• Strong background in HR business partnering, specifically working with technical or engineering management tiers.
• Deep understanding of multi-state US employment law and compliance.
• Ability to handle complex employee relations cases and build repeatable frameworks.
