Facilities Coordinator (Aerospace)

Location: Midland, Texas, United States; full-time, on-site role. Requires indoor and outdoor work in varying weather conditions and occasional support outside standard business hours.

What you will do

• Perform basic electrical, plumbing, HVAC, mechanical, carpentry, hardware, and general facility repairs.
• Conduct site walkthroughs and resolve maintenance, safety, cleanliness, and operational-readiness issues.
• Use hand and power tools for repairs, installations, assembly, and preventive maintenance.
• Coordinate vendors and contractors, verify completed work, and manage work orders through resolution.
• Coordinate janitorial, waste, pest control, landscaping, water, portable restroom, delivery, supply, and lunch services.
• Partner with EHS, Security, Operations, and other teams to support a safe and operationally ready site.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of experience in facilities, building, industrial, or maintenance operations.
• Hands-on experience with common hand and power tools and working knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, mechanical, and building systems.
• Ability to troubleshoot basic issues, perform repairs, and identify when licensed trades or specialized contractors are required.
• Experience with preventive maintenance, inspections, repairs, facility upkeep, and vendor or contractor coordination.
• Ability to work independently, adapt to changing priorities, safely lift and carry up to 50 lbs., and perform climbing, bending, reaching, standing, and walking tasks.
• Basic Microsoft Office proficiency and willingness to support occasional needs outside standard business hours.

Nice to have

• Experience as a Facilities Technician, Maintenance Technician, Building Engineer, or Industrial Maintenance Technician.
• Experience in manufacturing, industrial, aerospace, defense, testing, or other technically complex environments.
• Knowledge of pumps, motors, compressed air, facility equipment, or other industrial systems.
• Experience supporting construction, equipment installation, facility projects, purchasing, vendor quotes, purchase orders, invoices, parts, tools, or maintenance supplies.
• Familiarity with work-order, ticketing, preventive-maintenance, or project-tracking systems.
