What you will do
- Perform preventive maintenance and corrective repairs on automated CNC machines and manufacturing equipment.
- Diagnose mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, sensor, and basic controls-related faults.
- Maintain facility systems including HVAC, compressors, pumps, basic electrical systems, utilities, lighting, and compressed air equipment.
- Verify machine alignment, calibration, spindle operation, safety devices, interlocks, and safe startup and shutdown after maintenance.
- Create and manage CMMS work orders, maintenance histories, parts usage, labor time, downtime causes, and preventive-maintenance records.
- Coordinate with production, engineering, vendors, and internal resources to reduce downtime and improve equipment reliability.
Requirements
- 3–5 years of facility maintenance experience and hands-on experience with industrial manufacturing equipment.
- Experience with CNC preventive maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting.
- Experience using CMMS in a manufacturing environment to manage work orders and preventive-maintenance records.
- Ability to read mechanical and electrical schematics, follow technical instructions, and use diagnostic and measurement tools.
- Strong mechanical and electrical fundamentals, troubleshooting skills, and knowledge of lockout/tagout and safe maintenance practices.
- Ability to work in production environments, including extended standing and walking, industrial noise, dust, varying temperatures, heights, and confined areas when required.
Nice to have
- Experience with automated CNC systems, robotics interfaces, conveyors, and automated load/unload systems.
- Familiarity with industrial control components, PLC/HMI concepts, safety relays, sensors, proximity switches, drives, and starters.
- Experience with vibration checks, oil analysis, root-cause troubleshooting, PM optimization, failure trending, or spare-parts planning.
