Fullstack Engineer (AI)

Location: Austin, Texas, United States; primarily remote with a few intentional days of in-person collaboration each month

What you will do

• Build and improve web and mobile applications for patients and clinicians.
• Develop across the stack, including frontend applications, backend APIs, databases, and application logic.
• Write, read, and debug code in Python and other programming languages.
• Work with relational databases, including PostgreSQL.
• Own features and technical problems from concept through production.
• Collaborate directly with the CTO and engineering team to evaluate solutions and incorporate AI or emerging technologies where useful.

Requirements

• Professional coding experience in at least one programming language and the ability to learn new technologies.
• Experience developing applications, preferably including mobile applications.
• Comfort working across the stack and solving problems independently in ambiguous environments.
• Experience working on small teams with substantial individual ownership.
• Genuine interest in using AI practically and building technology for healthcare.
• Experience with React, React Native, Python, PostgreSQL, or cloud infrastructure is valuable.

Nice to have

• Recent startup experience.
• Experience launching applications rather than only maintaining existing code.
• Experience incorporating AI into products or development workflows.
• History of learning new technologies quickly to solve problems.
