Analyst – IT Infrastructure Audit (Cybersecurity)

Location: New York City, New York, USA; hybrid work with at least 3 days per week in-office

Base salary: $71,000–$121,000 per year, plus annual bonus or commission, equity, and benefits.

What you will do

• Plan and execute technology infrastructure, cybersecurity, integrated, business process, and regulatory audits.
• Assess the adequacy and effectiveness of technology controls across risk areas.
• Define audit scope, prepare risk and control matrices, and develop test procedures.
• Perform continuous auditing and monitoring of technical controls using automated audit tools.
• Document audit issues and findings in alignment with corporate policies and regulatory standards.
• Present technical findings clearly to technical and non-technical audiences while managing concurrent audit projects.

Requirements

• 2–6 years of risk-focused technology internal audit or related cybersecurity and infrastructure audit experience.
• Experience auditing IT processes and governance, networks, databases, operating systems, servers, virtualization platforms, containers, logging and monitoring, infrastructure as code, and cloud-native services.
• Experience auditing data centers and AWS and Azure cloud environments.
• Understanding of technology risk management principles and standards such as COBIT.
• Ability to write audit reports with minimal supervision, supported by strong organization, project management, communication, and collaboration skills.
• Experience with audit tools such as TeamMate.

Nice to have

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Professional auditing certification such as CISA or CISSP.
• Experience working with global teams and a strong customer service mindset.
