Senior Software Engineer (Frontend)

Location: Barcelona; hybrid work with three days per week at the Paris office, including mandatory Mondays

What you will do

• Build, launch, monitor, and support products in a build-it-and-run-it engineering environment.
• Develop and improve distributed, service-oriented systems as the platform transitions from a monolith.
• Design efficient, loosely coupled services and contribute to scalable, consistent, and secure platform capabilities.
• Improve existing designs and architecture for quarter-bounded projects and mission-critical areas.
• Explore technologies with significant potential impact and contribute to high-impact chaos mitigation.
• Collaborate with squad members, Staff Engineers, and other engineering groups through technical discussions, code reviews, and knowledge sharing.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience as a Software Engineer.
• Strong JavaScript and TypeScript skills with a frontend focus.
• Experience configuring CI/CD pipelines with CircleCI or an equivalent tool.
• Ability to deliver high-quality code with tests, documentation, and detailed pull request descriptions.
• Experience giving and receiving constructive code reviews, navigating ambiguity, and collaborating across technical domains.
• Strong English communication skills are required for collaboration in an international team.

Nice to have

• Experience with Python, Go, or another backend language.
• Experience with Vue.js, Nuxt, Algolia, GCS, Kubernetes, Docker, REST APIs, or Datadog.
• Curiosity about working across multiple technology stacks.
