Senior Frontend Engineer (Energy)

Location: Valencia or Barcelona, Spain; hybrid workplace.

What you will do

• Act as the technical driver for frontend architecture across customer onboarding flows, the customer private area, and related product modules.
• Build and integrate frontend features with hirify.global ES and international engineering teams.
• Contribute to private-area functionality, bill management, saving sessions, onboarding optimization, and marketing dashboards.
• Deliver customer-facing code in a fast-paced environment with rapidly changing priorities and short feedback cycles.
• Collaborate with Marketing and internal stakeholders while working across different areas of the business.
• Optionally contribute to backend-related work using Python/Django and GraphQL.

Requirements

• Fluent spoken English is essential for daily communication in the international team.
• Strong, proven experience as a Senior Frontend Engineer and a solid understanding of modern frontend architecture.
• Deep expertise in TypeScript and React.
• Hands-on experience with Next.js, ideally hosted on Vercel.
• Experience using GraphQL as a data layer.
• Comfort with CSS-in-JS solutions.
• Solid testing practices with tools such as Vitest, React Testing Library, and Playwright.
• Experience working within a monorepo structure.
• A flexible, collaborative mindset and comfort working in a fast-paced, evolving environment.

Nice to have

• Experience with PandaCSS.
• Interest or experience in backend development, particularly Python/Django.
• Familiarity with PostgreSQL.
• A fullstack mindset and curiosity about the full product picture.
