Global Operations Associate (Logistics)

What you will do

• Coordinate the end-to-end movement of import and export freight shipments, including intermodal transport.
• Ensure shipments move on time, within budget, and according to quality standards, KPIs, SLAs, and standard operating procedures.
• Resolve shipment exceptions and client issues at origin and destination, escalating problems when needed.
• Coordinate daily logistics operations with carriers, customs teams, terminals, trucking providers, warehouses, subcontractors, and internal teams.
• Identify opportunities to reduce waste, improve customer experience, standardize operations, and increase partner autonomy.
• Maintain cost-conscious and compliance-first operations in a regulated logistics environment.

Requirements

• BA/BS degree or completed professional training as a forwarding agent.
• 1–2+ years of experience in logistics, freight forwarding, supply chain, or air carrier operations.
• Air freight knowledge is beneficial.
• Fluent German and English required.
• Strong time management, prioritization, attention to detail, communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to adapt to new technology, receive feedback, work in a fast-paced environment, and follow compliance requirements.

• Knowledge of air freight operations.
