Systems Modeling, Simulation and Analysis Engineer

Location: Hybrid in Lexington, Massachusetts; must live within 100 miles of the facility and work onsite approximately three days per week. Must be a US citizen and able to obtain an active Secret Clearance.

What you will do

• Design, implement, test, maintain, and document modular software within sensor simulation frameworks.
• Develop high-speed data transfer, recording, signal processing, systems analysis, real-time control, and visualization software.
• Optimize latency and throughput on high-performance computing platforms for real-time distributed data collection.
• Use version control and continuous integration to develop and manage software products.
• Provide system administration for Windows and Linux environments, including remote and virtual capabilities.
• Participate in occasional domestic field testing of developed systems.

Requirements

• US citizenship and eligibility to obtain an active Secret Clearance are required.
• Must live within 100 miles of Lexington, Massachusetts, and be available for hybrid work with approximately three onsite days per week.
• At least five years of experience in modeling and simulation, operations research, trade studies, GUI development, and software design.
• Experience with multithreaded and network programming, real-time hardware/software development, software algorithms, and object-oriented development.
• Proficiency with scientific programming and system languages, including Python, MATLAB, LabVIEW, Mathematica, C++, Rust, or Go.
• Experience with Linux or Unix, scripting, build systems, Git, Jupyter notebooks, Anaconda, or Singularity.

Nice to have

• GPU programming, including CUDA.
• Additional programming experience.
