TL;DR
AI Solutions Specialist - FDE II (AI): Designing, building, and deploying reusable AI-powered applications and production accelerators with an accent on Generative AI, LLMs, Databricks, and portable cloud-to-on-premises deployments. Focus on developing evaluation frameworks, demonstrating technical trade-offs to clients, optimizing production solutions, and mentoring junior engineers.
Location: Athens, Attica, Greece; hybrid workplace.

What you will do
- Design, develop, and maintain reusable AI accelerators and end-to-end AI solutions.
- Build and deploy applications using Generative AI, LLMs, retrieval systems, prompting, agent orchestration, and tool integration.
- Lead technical demonstrations and explain solution capabilities, limitations, costs, and performance trade-offs to clients.
- Adapt solutions to client environments across cloud, on-premises, and restricted-network deployments.
- Own technical workstreams from initial development through production deployment and continuous improvement.
- Mentor junior team members, conduct technical reviews, and support professional development.
Requirements
- University degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 3–6 years of software development experience with strong Python skills.
- Hands-on experience building AI/LLM applications, including retrieval, prompting, agent orchestration, tool integration, and evaluation frameworks.
- Experience with Databricks and at least one major cloud platform, including Spark, SQL, and production deployment workflows.
- Knowledge of version control, automated testing, CI/CD, secure development, and software engineering best practices.
- Professional English proficiency required; Greek is an advantage.
Nice to have
- Experience in regulated industries such as utilities, banking, insurance, energy, or the public sector.
- Familiarity with self-hosted or open-source AI model deployments.
- Knowledge of GDPR, the EU AI Act, DORA, and NIS2.
