What you will do
- Support automation solutions that reduce manual intervention in client environments.
- Manage systems data, assignments, incidents, changes, and security-compliance activities.
- Develop and maintain automated solutions using mainframe automation tools and REXX programming.
- Perform automation software conversions, migrations, upgrades, and integrations across z/OS and related platforms.
- Develop disaster recovery and high-availability processes, including GDPS and Hyperswap validation.
- Collaborate with technicians, clients, stakeholders, and other teams to prioritize work and deliver solutions.
Requirements
- Knowledge of Broadcom OPS MVS, MainView Auto Operator, IBM AF OPER, or IBM System Automation.
- Knowledge of Automation Point and logical or structured programming.
- Deep REXX programming knowledge.
- Strong knowledge of migration tools, including migrations from BMC AO to System Automation.
- Experience with maintenance, upgrades, change and incident tools, and automated solution development.
- Fluent English required.
Nice to have
- Experience integrating z/OS automation software with z/VM, OMEGAMON, SYSVIEW, MainView, ServiceNow, Remedy, or Netcool.
- Experience installing, customizing, and upgrading GDPS.
- Experience preparing and validating upgrades for mainframes, z/OS, IMS, CICS, DB2, or MQ.
- Knowledge of AI and practical AI implementations.
