Payment and Settlements Analyst (Fintech)

hirify.global is hiring for its payments team to manage payment processing, settlements, reconciliations, and related risk controls.

What you will do

• Raise and release payments across multiple entities using a TMS system and online banking portals.
• Monitor and reconcile daily payment transactions, investigating discrepancies and resolving recalls, tracers, rejections, and other queries.
• Coordinate with internal teams, external partners, and Broker Operations to resolve client-related payment matters.
• Analyze payment data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for process improvement.
• Build and maintain macro-enabled and other Excel spreadsheets for reconciliations.
• Maintain payment procedures and controls in line with risk management, TCF, and CASS requirements, including occasional weekend on-call and UK bank holiday coverage.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or a related field.
• Experience in payments, settlements, or financial analysis.
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret complex financial data.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other software applications, with knowledge of payment processing systems.
• Strong communication, attention to detail, and accuracy.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
