Focus on challenging business decisions, translating market and regulatory developments into actionable recommendations, and coordinating risk management initiatives across global teams.
Location: Luxembourg, Luxembourg; hybrid work model with an expectation of being in the office at least three days per week.
Base salary: €71,000–€119,000 per year for a full-time role, plus performance-based variable compensation.

What you will do
- Evaluate P&C reinsurance underwriting strategies at portfolio level and contribute to the global risk view on business strategy.
- Review strategic plan execution across EMEA, considering regulatory, geopolitical, and market trends.
- Assess large and complex P&C transactions using quantitative and qualitative risk analysis.
- Lead or contribute to insurance risk reviews for EMEA markets, cross-cutting topics, and material life and health transactions.
- Identify and help mitigate operational risks related to underwriting activities.
- Communicate risk insights and collaborate with underwriters, market heads, and global Risk Management teams.
Requirements
- Solid underwriting or pricing experience in P&C reinsurance or insurance.
- Ability to assess complex transactions, simplify complex issues, prioritize material risks, and provide actionable recommendations.
- Constructive challenge mindset with strong interpersonal skills and cultural awareness.
- Strong organizational skills, resilience, and ability to manage shifting priorities under pressure.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with high attention to detail.
- Ability to collaborate across geographies and maintain trusted relationships with key risk stakeholders.
