Experienced Insurance Manager (f/m/d) Liability / Financial Lines

Location: Erlangen, Hamburg, Muelheim an der Ruhr, Frankfurt am Main, Warsaw, or Krakow, with flexible and remote work options available.

What you will do

• Design, place, implement, and manage corporate liability and financial lines insurance programs.
• Develop insurance terms and coverage concepts aligned with business-unit needs and risk profiles.
• Advise on and place liability insurance for projects.
• Support contract negotiations worldwide as the primary contact for insurance-related questions.
• Support claims reporting and processing, analyze insurance solutions, and independently handle complex operational, product, and environmental liability claims.
• Advise senior management on insurance coverage for boards and management under German corporate law.

Requirements

• Several years of relevant experience in a comparable position or relevant industry experience.
• Experience placing international insurance programs, reviewing contracts, and handling claims in international project business.
• Fluent German at C1/C2 level and English at C1 level, written and spoken.
• Strong analytical, negotiation, communication, and structured problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency with common MS Office applications and generative AI, with an interest in implementing digital processes.
