Location: Hybrid role requiring 60% office attendance at the headquarters in Leopardstown, Dublin 18, Ireland

What you will do
- Act as the highest technical escalation point for critical network incidents and complex infrastructure issues.
- Lead troubleshooting, root cause analysis, major incident recovery, and mentoring for Level 1 and Level 2 engineers.
- Operate and improve enterprise routing, switching, firewalls, SD-WAN, load balancers, VPNs, DNS, and cloud networking.
- Lead network implementation and design activities for data center migrations, office deployments, cloud connectivity, technology refreshes, mergers, and global expansion.
- Review high-risk network changes and provide technical approval in line with enterprise standards.
- Support network security, vulnerability remediation, audits, firewall policies, VPN configurations, and segmentation initiatives.
Requirements
- 10+ years of enterprise networking experience, including large-scale global environments and 24x7 mission-critical operations.
- Strong hands-on expertise in Cisco ACI, enterprise routing and switching, Fortinet firewalls, NetScaler/F5 load balancers, SD-WAN, and cloud networking.
- Experience with BGP, OSPF, network segmentation, micro-segmentation, Azure, AWS, VPNs, and secure network design.
- Ability to automate network tasks using Ansible, Python, or PowerShell and analyze performance with Wireshark or TCPDump.
- Proven experience leading major incident resolution, infrastructure projects, technical discussions, and stakeholder communications.
- Ability to work in the required hybrid arrangement with 60% attendance at the Dublin headquarters.
Nice to have
- Cisco Meraki and Cisco ISE experience.
- CATO SD-WAN experience and certifications.
- CCNP Enterprise or CCIE, Fortinet, Citrix NetScaler, AWS or Azure Networking, or ITIL certifications; any two are advantageous.
