TL;DR
Network Engineer (AI): Designing, deploying, and operating production datacenter, campus, core, and high-performance networks supporting GPU training and inference infrastructure with an accent on routing, switching, overlays, optics, and operational reliability. Focus on troubleshooting Layer 2/Layer 3 incidents, automating network operations, qualifying platforms, and supporting large-scale cluster build-outs.
Location: Onsite in Dublin, Ireland. Travel to Memphis and other build sites may be required.

What you will do
- Design, deploy, and operate production datacenter, campus, core, and edge networks at scale.
- Own BGP and interior routing configuration standards, change design, peer reviews, and safe execution.
- Qualify network platforms, optics, and topologies while contributing to architecture and capacity planning.
- Build monitoring, alerting, and operational documentation to improve network availability and incident response.
- Troubleshoot Layer 2 and Layer 3 incidents from physical links and optics through routing and traffic engineering, driving root-cause fixes.
- Automate network tasks and partner with compute, facilities, and software teams during cluster build-outs and maintenance windows.
Requirements
- Several years of experience designing or operating production networks in a datacenter, ISP, cloud, or large enterprise environment.
- Hands-on experience with BGP and at least one interior routing protocol such as OSPF or IS-IS.
- Working knowledge of TCP/IP, VLANs, EVPN/VXLAN or equivalent datacenter overlays, optics, and high-speed Ethernet.
- Experience troubleshooting live production incidents and participating in an on-call rotation.
- Strong written and verbal communication, including clear change documentation and incident notes.
- Willingness to work onsite in Dublin.
Nice to have
- Experience with Arista, Cisco, Juniper, or Nvidia/Mellanox networking platforms.
- Familiarity with RoCEv2, congestion control, GPU cluster fabrics, or other high-performance networking.
- Production experience with Python, Ansible, Terraform, or similar automation tools.
- Experience with EVPN, leaf-spine architectures, large-scale Ethernet fabrics, or rapid datacenter capacity build-outs.
