System Administrator (Linux)

Location: Hybrid in Lisbon, Portugal

What you will do

• Administer and maintain Linux systems in production environments.
• Manage and monitor critical web, email, and database services.
• Troubleshoot incidents and resolve operational issues.
• Collaborate on improving infrastructure security, performance, reliability, and automation.

Requirements

• Proven experience with Unix/Linux operating systems.
• Knowledge of MySQL and DBMS administration.
• Experience with LAMP or LEMP stacks and the HTTP protocol.
• Understanding of email protocols and related services.
• Basic knowledge of DNS fundamentals.
• Mid-to-senior level experience in systems administration.

Nice to have

• Experience with cPanel or Plesk shared hosting panels.
• Knowledge of R1Soft, Acronis, Veeam, Proxmox Backup Server, or JetBackup.
• Experience with Puppet, Ansible, KVM, Docker, LXC, Zabbix, Prometheus, or Grafana.
• Open-source project publications or contributions.
