Develops AI-driven systems for scalable algorithmic trading research and live trading.

What you will do

• Formalize the trading research process, including hypothesis spaces, validation logic, and the lifecycle from idea to evaluation.
• Design and build agent-driven systems that generate, test, and optimize trading strategies.
• Translate market microstructure knowledge into executable features, signals, and constraints.
• Generate and evaluate alpha hypotheses, including alpha decay, turnover, capacity, and execution sensitivity.
• Validate hypotheses through backtesting and simulation under realistic execution conditions.
• Collaborate with engineering to integrate research systems into production trading pipelines.

Requirements

• Experience with AI and machine learning research applied to systematic or algorithmic trading.
• Understanding of market microstructure, trading signals, and portfolio-level strategy construction.
• Ability to design research methodologies and statistically robust validation processes.
• Experience with backtesting, simulation, and automated experimentation.
• Ability to work with engineering teams on production trading systems.
