Internal Communications and Engagement Manager (Maternity Cover)

What you will do

• Lead the development and delivery of the University’s internal communications and engagement service and strategy.
• Manage and direct a team of internal communications professionals within the Directorate of Communications, Marketing and Student Recruitment.
• Develop and deliver dynamic internal communications, campaigns, and engagement activities for colleagues across the University.
• Plan and deliver executive and leadership communications for the President and Vice-Chancellor, University Executive Team, and other leadership groups.
• Work with leaders and stakeholders to support clear, consistent messaging and two-way dialogue.
• Embed service excellence, continuous improvement, and a positive sense of identity, direction, purpose, and community.

Requirements

• Experience leading internal communications and engagement activity in a complex organisation.
• Experience managing and directing communications professionals.
• Ability to develop strategic messaging, campaigns, and leadership communications.
• Ability to work effectively with senior leaders and stakeholders at all levels.
