What you will do

• Translate legislation, regulatory guidance, and internal policies into structured decision frameworks, rule sets, scoring models, and escalation thresholds.
• Design and prototype AI-powered workflows for regulatory research, licensing analysis, policy drafting, onboarding and KYC, surveillance, and incident management.
• Collaborate with Engineering and Data teams to implement LLM, RAG, agentic, and data pipeline workflows with grounding, documentation, and audit trails.
• Build quantitative models and evaluation frameworks for regulatory risk, scenario outcomes, enforcement impact, and AI workflow performance.
• Research regulatory developments across Singapore, the EU/EEA, the UK, Australia, and the Middle East, converting them into machine-readable rules and internal playbooks.
• Partner with Legal, Product, Engineering, regulators, auditors, and risk committees on AI-enabled compliance decisions and governance.

Requirements

• 3–5 years of experience in regulatory compliance, financial services law, or a related role at a financial institution, crypto or fintech firm, trading venue, or regulator.
• Strong understanding of financial services and VASP regulation, licensing frameworks, and cross-border regulatory issues, including MAS, AUSTRAC, FCA, MiCAR, and ADGM or similar regimes.
• Ability to build structured, technology-supported legal and compliance workflows or internal tools using Python, scripting, or no-code/low-code platforms.
• Experience with LLMs, APIs, workflow orchestration, data or analytics platforms, prompt iteration, retrieval strategies, and evaluation metrics.
• Strong analytical and computational thinking, with the ability to formalize regulatory reasoning into models, diagrams, and structured guidance.
• Excellent communication, professional judgment, integrity, and ownership when working across Legal, Compliance, Engineering, and Product in ambiguous regulatory environments.
