Materials Engineer (Oil & Gas)

What you will do

• Review project specifications, test codes, standards, drawings, and bills of quantities to define materials, quality, workmanship, and testing requirements.
• Assess, select, and propose alternative materials while considering suitability, testing requirements, and cost implications.
• Provide technical guidance on civil construction materials, their application, inspection, testing, storage, and site use.
• Develop pressure test strategies and coordinate material-related activities with engineering disciplines, construction teams, stores, manufacturers, and clients.
• Monitor method statements, inspection and test plans, quality records, material deliveries, stocks, and manufacturing inspections.
• Identify defects and non-conformances, raise punch lists, witness critical verification points, and support corrective actions.

Requirements

• BEng or equivalent degree in a relevant discipline.
• 5–10 years of experience in oil and gas projects; ADNOC experience is advantageous.
• Senior-level experience of 7–9 years.
• Computer literacy and strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in English is required.
