Product Unit Purchaser (m/f) (Agricultural Machinery)

Location: Woippy, France; onsite at the manufacturing site

Family-owned agricultural machinery manufacturer specializing in the design and production of round and square balers for global distribution.

What you will do

• Support quality, cost, and delivery targets for an assigned product unit, focusing on purchasing processes and components.
• Coordinate purchasing interfaces across global purchasing, quality management, manufacturing engineering, and engineering.
• Coordinate release planning, APQP activities, and early supplier integration for purchased development components.
• Budget and control tooling costs for purchased components.
• Drive product cost optimization, target-cost achievement, and cost-driver analysis for sourcing decisions.
• Participate in product unit, purchasing, and product development committees.

Requirements

• Degree in industrial engineering, mechanical engineering, or business administration; a French BAC+5 degree is accepted.
• Minimum three years of purchasing experience with developmental components.
• Broad technical understanding and knowledge of product development and supplier qualification processes such as APQP.
• Experience managing projects with cross-functional teams and collaborating in a matrix organization.
• Hands-on experience with MS Office and SAP, plus strong analytical and numeracy skills.
• Fluent English and French required; German is a plus.
