Maintenance Technician (Biopharmaceutical Manufacturing)

Location: hirify.global's biopharmaceutical and medical device campus in Waterford, Ireland; the role involves in-person maintenance work across manufacturing and facilities operations.

Salary: €41,600–€55,467 per year, depending on experience, skills, location, and other relevant factors.

What you will do

• Repair, maintain, operate, and set up process and production equipment to support reliable output.
• Execute planned maintenance and enter accurate data into the maintenance preventive-maintenance system.
• Maintain equipment and facilities in compliance with quality, safety, and cGMP standards.
• Support continuous-improvement initiatives across manufacturing operations.
• Train colleagues on equipment, maintenance activities, setup procedures, and safety awareness when required.
• Communicate equipment issues, preventive-maintenance activities, repairs, and serious downtime accurately.

Requirements

• Junior and Senior Trade Certificate or an equivalent third-level qualification.
• At least 5 years of experience as a Maintenance Technician in a multi-skilled team environment.
• At least 2 years of experience as a Maintenance Technician in pharmaceutical manufacturing.
• Ability to follow standard operating procedures, cGMP requirements, personal protective equipment rules, and safety processes.
• Ability to work independently, support maintenance teams, attend team meetings, and maintain accurate documentation.
