External Reporting & Technical Accounting Manager (AI/Automation)

Location: On-site in Breda, Netherlands. Candidates must already hold a permanent work and residence permit for the Netherlands.

What you will do

• Apply IFRS and Dutch GAAP standards and prepare technical accounting position papers.
• Prepare internal and external financial reporting, including sustainability, remuneration, and quarterly press release reporting.
• Coordinate domestic and international external audits.
• Perform financial analysis and controls during month-end and year-end closings.
• Identify opportunities to improve finance processes through AI and automation.
• Collaborate with finance disciplines, business units, and corporate functions across multiple countries.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Accountancy or Finance.
• Several years of Big Four experience and an accountancy background.
• Strong technical accounting knowledge, including IFRS and Dutch GAAP, with audit experience.
• Advanced Excel skills and an analytical, proactive, hands-on approach.
• Strong interest in AI and automation for improving financial processes.
• Professional proficiency in English and Dutch, written and spoken.

Nice to have

• RA or CPA qualification.
• Experience with BI tools and internationally operating organizations.
