Quality Engineer - FEOL (Semiconductor)

Location: Singapore, SGP; Work region: Woodlands. Onsite manufacturing role with approximately 10% travel and short-notice travel when required.

What you will do

• Oversee manufacturing processes and ensure compliance with quality standards and product specifications.
• Develop quality assurance systems that improve product quality, process capability, manufacturing consistency, and yield.
• Set quality objectives, monitor KPIs, investigate non-conformities, and drive sustainable defect and risk reduction.
• Govern manufacturing quality risks through PFMEA, Control Plans, change management, MRB, PCN, and quality reviews.
• Apply statistical methods, including SPC and Design of Experiments, to analyze data, identify trends, and implement mitigation plans.
• Collaborate with manufacturing, process integration, reliability, engineering, and customer teams on production and new technology implementation.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, or a related field.
• 5–10 years of work experience, including more than 3 years in in-process quality control within a high-volume manufacturing environment.
• Strong understanding of nanotechnology processes, including lithography, etch, deposition, and metrology.
• Proficiency in statistical data analysis, process optimization, process control techniques, Design of Experiments, SPC, and JMP.
• Ability to lead others in solving complex problems, communicate difficult concepts, and influence stakeholders.
• Ability to travel on short notice when required; approximately 10% travel.

• Experience with FEOL optics or semiconductor fabrication.
