Company
develops spatial intelligence products and platforms that help decision makers and operators understand current and future conditions.
What you will do
- Own and improve platform reliability through SRE practices, service-level objectives, monitoring, alerting, incident response, root-cause analysis, and operational reviews.
- Design and maintain secure, repeatable CI/CD and deployment automation with testing, quality gates, artifact management, rollback, and deployment verification.
- Develop Python tools and platform capabilities that reduce operational toil and improve developer productivity.
- Operate observability across logs, metrics, traces, health checks, dashboards, and actionable alerts.
- Optimize services, infrastructure, databases, Cloud Run workloads, performance, scalability, resource use, and cost efficiency.
- Build and support on-premises environments at customer sites and deployment models spanning cloud, customer data centers, and edge environments.
Requirements
- Professional Python development experience with APIs, services, databases, automated tests, and source-control workflows.
- Experience designing and operating CI/CD pipelines, cloud infrastructure, Kubernetes, Docker, Terraform, and Google Cloud services including Cloud Run.
- Ability to write maintainable production software as a full-stack or backend developer, not only infrastructure configuration.
- Experience troubleshooting distributed-system reliability, deployment, availability, latency, capacity, and performance issues.
- Ability to apply secure-by-design engineering, least-privilege access, secrets management, compliance, change management, incident response, and operational readiness practices.
- U.S. Person status is required because the role may involve U.S. export-control and ITAR-regulated work.
Nice to have
- Experience with GIS, mapping, spatial data, satellite or aerial imagery, remote sensing, computer vision, or earth-observation data.
- Experience in AI/ML platform operations, model-serving infrastructure, evaluation pipelines, or responsible AI.
- Experience with disconnected, air-gapped, classified, defense, intelligence, military, or national-security environments.
- Experience with PostgreSQL, database optimization, caching, infrastructure-as-code, GitOps, policy-as-code, or supply-chain security.
Culture & Benefits
- Work on mission-critical spatial intelligence products including Site Sentry, Maritime Sentry, and Storyline.
- Benefits include a 401(k) with company match, mental health resources, student loan repayment assistance, adoption reimbursement, and pet insurance.
- Compensation includes a role-dependent incentive plan based on contribution, company performance, and/or individual results.
