Hospital Service Technician I

Location: Children's Hospital Birmingham, Birmingham, Alabama, United States. On-site morning shift from 6:00am to 2:30pm, with flexibility for evenings, weekends, holidays, and emergency off-hours to support a 24/7 schedule.

What you will do

• Deliver medical equipment to patient rooms and standby locations in patient-ready condition.
• Ensure equipment has the appropriate software, accessories, and disposables.
• Communicate with clinical staff about equipment features and functionality.
• Pick up, clean, process, and prepare equipment according to hospital and company protocols.
• Maintain service quality, meet customer and company metrics, and support efficient equipment flow throughout the hospital.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Customer service experience; prior hospital experience is preferred.
• Basic computer skills.
• Ability to lift or push up to 75 pounds and stand or walk for extended periods.
• Ability to frequently bend, stoop, twist, climb, crouch, kneel, crawl, sit, and stand.
