Inspections Field Operations Senior Supervisor (AI)

Location: Santa Ana, California, US; on-site at an SCE facility or in the field. The role may require extended assignments across the region, up to 80% travel throughout the SCE service territory, and relocation may apply.

What you will do

• Lead Electrical System Inspectors responsible for overhead utility infrastructure inspections, patrols, and risk-based projects.
• Manage workload distribution, inspection and installation activities, project records, work orders, schedules, and pay quantity records.
• Oversee conduit, structure, and related-component inspections for compliance with regulatory standards and company policies.
• Lead cross-functional quality projects, including data collection, analysis, process improvements, and implementation of recommendations.
• Create training materials and conduct training sessions while overseeing inspector qualifications and technical development.
• Perform contractor field safety assessments and promote compliance with Edison safety protocols.

Requirements

• Four or more years of experience performing or supervising quality control and inspections.
• Valid Class C Driver’s License.
• Ability to work on-site and in the field, including up to 80% travel throughout the SCE service territory.
• Ability to manage inspection work, safety practices, regulatory compliance, and sensitive company and customer information.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of overhead electric infrastructure construction and related technical requirements.
• Experience leading a large, geographically dispersed team across a broad territory.
• Technical experience with drone and AI-enabled inspection programs, large datasets, and high volumes of work orders.
• FAA Small UAS Rule (Part 107) certification.
