Salary: $73,828–$92,284 per year for Grade 6; $86,783–$108,480 per year for Grade 7. The compensation range listed is $74,551–$109,543 per year.

What you will do

• Coordinate project activities supporting Transmission Construction Representatives and assist with project tracking, reporting, and completion of department goals.
• Collect and organize information on active and future construction management projects and prepare reports from multiple data applications.
• Support onboarding, application access requests, departmental meetings, conferences, training, and presentations.
• Track in-service advisories, project updates, substation and facility access, and serve as an E-Key Captain.
• Perform field safety observations, work with construction contracts and one-line diagrams, and support regional storm response with contractor and equipment information.
• Train and mentor new Construction Coordinators and collaborate with AEP departments and field contract personnel.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management or business plus 2 years of project construction management experience; or an associate’s degree plus 4 years; or a high school diploma/GED plus 8 years.
• Ability to establish and maintain effective relationships with field construction personnel.
• Proficient computer skills and Microsoft Office and Apple product experience.
• Good analytical skills for analyzing report data.
• Ability to collaborate with multiple AEP departments and field contract personnel.
